Where is your fan switch located?

I seem to move my fan switch around everytime i swap out plastics after a paint job.....so about 4 times now. I started up having it ziptied next to the ram air cover. It was nice and tucked away. but sucked putting the ram air cover back on with it there. I then moved it to the stay. worked great there..but was pretty visable. and i hated the wire showing. I tried a couple other spots on the last plastics swap and i think i found a decent place. it takes some getting used to reaching for it. but where does everyone else have theirs at!? What kinda switch do you use? does it have an LED to let you know its still on? post up pics of your hiding spot for your switch.

the newest location for mine. I cut the black rubber bumper out from the undertail bent the prongs on the switch and i fits in there perfectly. I cut off part of the lever since I thought it would be too long.

shit i wouldnt know how to wire that up either.

:lol I'll dig up a shot of the other side of the fairing stay so you can see the treatment the switch got. :sneaky

I wrapped the whole front harness in a layer if electrical tape after noticing some wear where it parces through the stay. Generally I'm pretty upset so add any weight but in the name of reliability and longevity its worth it I feel. I wrapped the whole wire on my quick shifter too; added 12g but it's such a scrawny little wire without it.
you must have a lot of free time on your hands...or you suffer from some serious OCD :lol

Doing mine this weekend, but i'm using this. one for the fan, one for a headlight kill switch so at the track I can turn them off, or if my hids fail to ignite i can turn them off then retry. The third switch i'm not sure of yet. For now I think I just might wire up my custumLED tail lights stobe mode till i find a better reason for it.

My question is why the stock thermometer activates the fans at 106c, a temperature extremelle high in my books, whole in Fz1, say, they go off at 100c.

Just ordered my switch, so I'll be doing this soon as well. Love the spot where there plastic housing is by the turn signals, think mine is going there. Will post pics when I'm done.
