Tell me this.. If I have a pax helmet with me, where the heck am I gonna put it? I opened the seat to my surprise the helmet hook was in the front as oppose to the side... So the helmet is sitting on my seat. I struggled with unlocking my seat because....you guessed it, my helmet was in the way. I won't ever do that again. I guess this R1 is meant to be a 1 passenger bike... What is your input or am I just complaining :nopity::nforc:

Take off the passenger pegs and get a solo seat. These bikes are made for one person. If you wanna pull (.)(.) get a lambo.
Get a $5 cargo net with 6 hooks that go under the seat. I won't ride my 04 with a helmet hanging off one side. The built-in underseat hooks are for use only when parked.
sad but I don't think you can really have your lady sitting back there unless she is like 5ft 2inch tall. Say what you want but that is the only real reason why I am still thinking about it. the fireblade for sure is a nice bike if you want your lady riding around with you.

Yamaha Motor typically does not consider "trolling for biker chicks" when designing a high-performance sportbike. That's not to say that this isn't a valid use for the machine, but if you DO use it for that purpose, you may need to purchase an aftermarket solution or make some design changes of your own.
Just tell me your passenger helmet isn't one of those WWI chrome atrocities.
