The past weekend yamaha had their dealer convention where they released 3 new products and gave us a little taste of what is to come.
The only thing that is really of any interest to this forum is the inline 3. The first unit comming out is set to replace the FZ8, the FZ-09 and it will be a crossplane inline three. We will probably see this unit at the dealer in september.
There is an all new yz450 and 250..the 250 now has the backwards configuration and is FI.. and there is a new sidexside called the viking. Its just a bigger uglier rhyno imo.
They said there will be 8 units over the next 5 years to be released. No indication of what they will be, but id be willing to bet a pretty penny the R1 and R6 will be in that line up...inline threes.
