First thing to do is change your pipe to the FMF Burly pipe and FMF silencer, trust me I speak from experience it will get rid of the flat bottom end. Other than that it is a great bike and I am sure you will love it, good luck with the new bike bro.

Hahahaha that would be pretty fun!!!

As far as the pipe goes... I have the Procircuit Platinum 2 on order. I heard there is no bottom end until you replace the exhaust.

Its prepped for winter storage but I just want to take it for a run down the street.

should of spent a little money on a better camera
I agree! I have a panasonic Lumix digi.... It SUCKS ASS!!!

So this year I went to a Canon SLR. New pics are great but if you want the good pics of the bike... you have to wait until they are developed :(

That's a great question...

I had "cash in hand" since early october and I was eager to buy.

I took the time and read a lot of information on all the different bikes and tried to figure out what was the bike for me.

I thought... since I ride an R1 and I like the track... a YZ250F would be great for me. I get to ride this kick ass dirt bike on the track, hit big airs and 50 foot dubble up's all day.

Reality set in and I realized this is my first dirt bike an I'm going to spend most of my time riding trails. I thought about the WR250 and a couple other 4 stroke reliable machines. It hasn't been more than 3 weeks since I heard about the KDX220R and all I heard since than is how great these bike are. Apparently they are rider friendly bikes and are easy to maintain.

I also hear that it's a great upgadable bike.you start out with a reliable trail bike but with a few modifications (exhaust) your riding a completely new bike.

You bought new??? I worry about scratching up a new LAWNMOWER, let alone a gem like that! :scared
I actually didn't want to buy new because I know it's gonna get dropped, scratched etc.. etc.. but I came across a really good deal on a 2004 that they were trying to clear out.

I looked at a used 2004 on Monday and after I talked the guy down as far as he was willing to go, he wanted $250 less than what the new one cost me.
