Got my 2010 r1 ecu flashed from Superbike unlimited and it's totally nuts. Stock r1 on steroids lol. Like a whole new bike. Good communication and fast.

In terms of performance - I can't say. We've never done a back to back dyno comparison. Unless there's a setting such as engine braking, velocity stack opening, or something along those lines you'd like to change, I would probably suggest just using what you have. We'd love your business, but I wouldn't want you to spend money unnecessarily.

Your gas mileage will be night and day also. You will be filling up and then filling up again in just over an hour. I have to say after my flash my mileage went to shit. But I cant be any more happy to make a lot of stops to the pump with all that extra power and performance.

You won't be disappointed. These guys know their stuff. As far as I know, they're the only vendor on here, (apart from Graves Yamaha) that is actually racing (and winning) on the current-generation R1. Any vendor can sell you pieces-parts, but SBU is actually using the parts they sell. If they tell you something works on the track, (or street), they are speaking from experience. I've spent tons of money with them, and every time I'm glad I did. They are the measuring-stick that every vendor should strive for.

Seems lots of good reviews and feed-backs, I'll send mine soon, unfortunately not from the US :(
Just one more question, after getting my ECU tuned/flashed from SBU and installing in my 2k8 R1, do I still need the Bazzaz ZFI, I'm currently running on the 2bros M2 VALE full carbon slip-on exhaust, with Akrapovic Y-pipe, no Cat
Thank you !

SBU Flash....when you state
"Optimize ignition timing for 91+ octane fuel" (09-14 R1)
What has been done to the ignition mapping?
From what I understand adding timing creates more heat not power on the 09-14 engine. Care to share a little more data than "optimized" Or is it...you're just pulling timing out to smooth out the engine braking affect.
