I started to repair my boonted tank

Did you just fill it all or did you straighten the metal first?

Almost there... Unique - One off Fairings - All ABS plastic - fabricated and modified by yours truly. Its a 2001 R1 Frame w/ 98 Rear Subframe (Dont ask) - It has all 03 suspension including triple, forks and swing arm. Has 03 FI Motor. 06 headlights.. The headlights where trimmed and welded together to make them fit inside the modified OEM upper. Also fabricated tabs and dowels to mount the headlights to the fairing as one would expect... Shaved turn signals with custom fabb'd "dualie" round turn signals and running lights... Just need a tank (Don't know which to use yet.. either gonna be an 01 tank or an 03. I had everything I need for either accept for the tank itself. Also need chain and sprockets plus tires. Everything has been done during the build. Valve Adjustment, Fork Oil blah blah blah was all done... The blue paint will have to do for now. I'll do a more involved job over the winter - for now I want to ride it!!

Well you're half right ;-) I'm at the point where I just want to be done. I did it for rolling business card purposes if you get my meaning. I'm tired of repair work and want to get my name out there for doing fab work, the right way, not like most of these guys out there mixing fiberglass and ABS which will ALWAYS fail given enough time - or they make separate parts out of fiberglass loosing the whole custom/flush/fused look.

I haven't had much time to actually do this work so this has been over the course of 3 years. I miss my 00 R1 and I really want to ride this and see how it feels after all this work....

I took the pump out and bashed as much of the dents out from the bottom with a big stick
