Hey everyone, its been a while since ive been on here. im in need of help, if anyone can lend some assistance that would be great.
I know im going to get flammed for this but any ways...

Just returned from Aghanistan, i took it out riding, put some fuel in it and about 2 to 3 miles down the road it slowly started dying. It doesnt start anymore :(.

I forgot to put some fuel stab in her before i took off, But i figured it was fine becuase it stared and ran fine. But now i dont know whats the issue.

Ive checked the Spark plugs and their good, however i havent replaced them at all, i know, i know. When i crank it there really isnt a smell of fuel which is why i think it could be a clogged line. I can hear the pump so thats good.

So what i want to do is drain the tank, but i dont know how, other then sticking a hose in the tank and sucking. Anyone know a better method.

After that i want to check the line and ensure there fuel coming out, so ill need some help with that too.

Finaly if that doesnt work then ill be forced to changed the plugs, i would love to change them know, but there not priced any where close to car prices, so ill wait to make sure its not fuel or the line.

Any help would be great fellas, thanks in advance.

fuel isnt the problem. the fueld lines from draining the tank and blowing throught hoes are good. i dont want to spend $50 on plugs and that isnt the problem.i have to go to drill segreant school in a couple of days so i guees this will have to wait, sucks.

:iamwithst....You can't see the kink. Just do the fuel line mod to be sure. It is cheap insurance:fact

What did the fuel pump screen look like when you pulled the pump out?

Sorry I took off without saying anything. I'm still at school won't be done until the 26th of this month. But I should be back and working on the bike that weekend. I'm thinking of just ordering a used pump and a relay. I'll pull the plugs ground them and check to make sure that's not the issue. Hope it's not the injector. Talk to you guys in a few days.

OK thanks for the help everyone. Got back from DS school in late Aug. Finally have time to trouble shoot the bike. I ordered and installed a fuel pump. That wasn't it, so I don't know if its the park or air. As far as I'm tracking for a engine to run requires fuel spark and air.

I've never heard of the fuel line mod is there a link you can provide.

Anyones input on this would be very grate full.

Lol, well it was the fuel line being bent. I opened her up with the tank hung and held the fuel line hose and it took a while. I could feel the fuel going through the hose. Now I'm thinking, should I put it under the vent and over flow hose?
Not sure what you mean buy this.

I've done the fuel line mod. I have the parts numbers somewhere in my phone. I'll be right back.

Edit: The part numbers can be seen at the top left corner of each package. I can't remember if these were from Advance Auto or Auto Zone. It was one of the 2 for sure. I bought 2 hoses because I replaced the upper and lower fuel lines.

Not sure how your bike was running when you left and not running when you got back. Not sure how a linked fuel line would cause that unless you was under the tank when you got back before starting it.

Congrats on DS school a few people I work with have recently gone as well to include SSG Sherod.
