Evening Folks! Nice night in Florida - got the windows open and the ac shut off. Nice unexpected cool down for these parts. The GF is up in DC and is freezing!! Kinda scares me since that area is on the list of potential new places of residence. I really like the whole area, but the cold.... why does it have to be cold???? We put a man on the moon in 1969 - we can't keep the Nation's Capital at an acceptable temp in 2015????

DON'T DO IT!!! I moved back up here and have regretted ever since! But...if you do, we can hang out and bitch about how ****in cold it is ?

Note: be sure to stop by the classifieds section on the forum. I will be putting items of interest on there over the coming days. :)
:(..... :thumbup........ :(

:lol

I'm not sure what route I'll take with the 15. I don't know that it has any real weak links. I know I don't want that much power on the SE tracks. But done right that would be a hell of a street/canyon/mountain machine in my opinion. I really need to tear into the technicalities on this one. But I just broke a gun, and have to have another built. Freakin' bleeding money lately, and my taxes were horrific this year :scared
I'm interested to see how good this bike really is. I want one, and this weekend could potentially decide the future of motorcycles for me.

Speaking of that, are you going to the mountains this fall?

No idea. We were trying to line up a July trip, but there doesn't seem to be much interest. So I'll play it by ear depending on my shooting schedule.

I never saw a general commit date. My competitions take priority, but I've been trying to nail down a competition that puts me on the East Coast this summer.

We are working to get between race events, so some of the long distance folks who are interested can make it (one works at Graves Motorsports). I'm not even sure where it will fit with my plans for Camp Perry, so I'm playing it by ear as well. Heck, I'm actually leaving for a match tonight, and on another site registering for one of the two in April I'm planning to shoot. I'll be glad when I'm classified again :lol.

Let me know if you are in my neck of woods dear :sneaky

Another sport that costs $$$ LOL :icon_wink:

Well, hopefully there is a convention this year :smilies26:

Morning all :) Cold wet weather here in VA :icon_cry:

Rod's in Florida for the next week or so, fishing trip and getting all the bikes and truck registered in Florida. Hopefully next month I'll get to ride the R1 on the streets and finally check out Carolina Motorsports tune on my bike. It's been a full year since my hernia operation so I should be fully recovered :icon_wink:

Oh yeah, this stuff is pricey. On Wednesday's practice I went through about $100 in ammo, and then had one of my guns break. But better in practice, and parts will be here Monday so I can make it gooder than it was.

Brandon's tunes are off the hook from what I hear. :fact

We'll see what happens with the Convention. I'll probably do an autumn trip just to see old friends and do some face to face negotiating. Too many people have changed and it's hard to get solid work done on the phone/email.

Will have to see what happens with the date of the gathering and determine if i can make it. I'm looking at my shoot calendar, and it is full. Almost every weekend has a shoot in it. I'm still looking at r100.org for something out that way. May shoot IBO or ASA to get out there. But, gotta see what I can do, and I am planning on four shoots here in the Midwest already (MN, IA, SD, WI).

Add to it my archery club is kicking into high gear with outdoor leagues, and public shoots and work parties. Ugh... Then, I got an email on Sunday that I have been selected to be a member at a gun club with a very long waiting list. All coming together. :lol

I might be out that way end of May. There's a shoot I want to do in Staunton, VA. If I go, will keep you in the loop

:yesnod But, I seem to be narrowing my expensive sports down quite a bit.. Sorta. :lol

When are you moving to FL? :dunno

Getting back into firearms as well, I forget how expensive it is to shoot. I need to pick up a reloader.

So it looks like I will be going to a conference in Tampa. Anybody near by? Or close enough for a dinner one night?

I'd jump on the gun club. I got invited to join some today after a few strings of fire. Several people asked "exactly how long has it been since you've done this?" Mind you I had some nasty matches, but I also had some that would be competitive at Perry. Felt good. As far as the gathering; no idea.

I just texted Jason (Meister) about them :lol
